Axe Cop News!

You may have read that I LOVE Axe Cop! The webcomic, the graphic novel, and you KNOW I'll be following the animated series on Fox's Animation Domination!

To go off chasing rabbits, here's a sampling from the Huffington Post:

"Axe Cop" is coming to Fox. The comic will come to life, via animation, as part of Fox's late-night block of cartoon programming, Animation Domination HD, launching in 2013.

“'Axe Cop' is one of the most creative, hilarious and naturally viral comic properties to emerge in the last decade,” Nick Weidenfeld, head of Animation Domination HD, said in a statement. "I've hoped someone would adapt 'Axe Cop' for television for years and couldn't be happier that we get to be that someone. 'Axe Cop' has all the makings of an iconic animated series and it will help set the tone for Fox’s new late-prime Saturday animation lineup.”

The network has ordered six (6) fifteen minute episodes that are SURE to be an epic watch. I don't know if I can wait until 2013! With the whole "end-of-the-world" thing coming, ;) I feel like everything should be crammed into this year JUST IN CASE!

If you're new to Axe Cop, worry not! I often have worries that I'll miss something by starting in the middle of a series. It's SUPER easy to catch up with Axe Cop and if you don't want to, you'll still enjoy the comic! There's a certain appreciation that goes with following something from the start and knowing the history of the characters, but with Axe Cop, all you truly need to appreciate the series is an appreciation for silly, random, good clean fun!

Is there anyone out there who hates Axe Cop? The only thing that I hate is that Malachai is already more successful at a tender young school-age than I'll ever be in my entire life! :) I'm so proud of you, Malachai! And great work to you too, Ethan! (Hahaha!)
