HI THERE!

I'm Ashleigh Mayes and I'm really excited that you've stopped in! For whatever reason you're here: welcome! Krypto Dies began as a way for me to document my experience at San Diego Comic Con in 2010 and to have an outlet for some of my favorite hobbies. I've always loved teaching, repeating, and keeping others informed. Among reading comic books and playing XBOX games, I'm a gun NUT! I love shooting and keep a .357 revolver handy. Single action shooting, all the way! I love target shooting and skeet shooting. I'm also a ceramicist and LOVE playing in the mud. By far, writing reviews for you guys is the most rewarding! Over the years, I've reviewed comic books and graphic novels, made too many friends to count, gotten advice from both writers and artists alike (this is AWESOME for me, because I'm an art teacher by day!), and traveled to new places. I wouldn't trade this site, you readers, or my experiences for anything in the world! More recently, I've entered the wonderful, wonderful world of cinema. I've never been able to sit through movies (that's why the comic book format has been so perfect for me!), but I'm finding that Marvel and Sci-Fi movies are GREAT! When I'm not doing homework, reading education research, or watching movies, I'm playing World of Warcraft on Borean Tundra. Let's quest or raid! I've got several characters of various levels and I'm sure I can help you out! My main is Shaloraa, the Night Elf Hunter! As of July of 2014, I'm revamping the site, taking on yet another domain name, and making it my priority to keep this website going more consistently.
