Random Geekery!: Mr. Timms booth at San Diego Comic-Con

First “Random Geekery”! Hooray! Walking around at San Diego Comic-Con, we came across this booth:

Pretty hard to miss, huh?

So…we HAD to wait in line for our chance to “Feed Mr. Timms”. His “food” was a ping pong ball. And guess who rocked it? Yours truly! Ok…I didn’t exactly “rock it”, but I DID get 1/3 ping pong balls in his mouth. YAY!

Somehow, they had it rigged (I mean “rigged” in the nicest way!) so that behind the wall, five different tubes led to five different fish bowls. Whichever fishbowl your ball landed in, that’s the prize you got. I ended up with a Mr. Timms coin purse (It reminded me of why I hated them so in Elementary School. You put your money in, and it NEVER comes back!) Despite the fact that it almost ate about $100, I still love it. And lesson learned. It’s for looks, not for bills. Ha ha. Mr. Ellis Knightly is SO friendly and passionate about Mr. Timms. He’s a great guy with a VERY fun personality. I knew I wanted to interview him the minute I saw him visiting the people in line for his booth.

So, this is me, helping spread the word of Mr. Timms! Listen closely; it’ll change your life!

By the way- it was mentioned that it looks like I’m mocking him. I don’t know how, I was just highly amused by his passion. I think it’s AWESOME that’s he is so AWESOMELY PASSIONATE about the AWESOME Mr. Timms!!
