Thanks to A.P.N.G. Enterprises, I've acquired copies of "New-Gen" to review for your pleasure! The "New-Gen" comic is presented by Marvel and is a six issue series. What's so awesome about the "New-Gen" comics? Well...let's start with a basic plot summary of Issue #1! The story begins with twin brothers arguing about the fate of the world. How? The two have, in their possession, Nanobots that can shape change. The invention is first used to fix a girl's stub of an arm. Soon, the comic takes a dark twist and Deadalus (the brother of Gabriel) begins to use the Nanobots for evil, rather than good. He releases them into the world, and they begin attaching to people. Gabriel can't stand for the invention to be used in such a way. The two are involved in an epic battle that leaves Deadalus underground and alone. Gabriel must deal with the destruction left in his brother's wake. There is a plethora of children who've been affected by the Nanobots and they all take different forms and abilities. Gabriel provides a refuge for them all. Deadalus, trapped underground, soon realizes that he's not alone. Surrounding him is a soon-to-be army of Nanobots. He discovers a tunnel and crawls to freedom. The Nanobots, however, aren't done morphing him. He awaits his time, and when ready, he is led out to take over the world by his army. Meanwhile, Gabriel is left debating not only the fate of the mutated children, but the fate of his own as well.
