Review: Zombie Dice, Steve Jackson Games!

I'll admit that I didn't have high expectations for a dice game when I first ordered it, but my doubts were QUICKLY put to rest. I look forward to a good round (because I know I'll win...LOL!) and I actually get really involved in it! Before I go too far, here's the concept:

Who has four thumbs and hasn't played a board game in YEARS but LOVES Zombie Dice? THIS GIRL!

Play with as many people as you like, but you need at least two (unless you're like me, with friends in your head). The object of the game is to, as a zombie, collect the most brains (your victims). The first player rolls three dice and tallies the number of brains. IF and only IF there are feet, place the three dice aside and roll three more dice. You do this until you don't roll any more feet OR until you've got a total of three shotgun blasts from all of your rolls. Once this happens, it's the next player's turn. This sounds complicated, but I swear: it's not! It's VERY fast paced and it's very easy to start shouting and jumping and WOO-HOO!ing or boo-hooing. The first player to get to 13 brains wins!

Pros: Like I said, it's very fast paced and easy to get into. It's a game that most any age can understand and geeks can rejoice in! With each round lasting just a few minutes (depending on the number of players, of course), everyone has a chance to win! Another pro is that the dice and instructions are all kept neat and together in a kick-awesome canister that'll be an awesome addition to any zombie enthuastic's collection! Yet another pro? Look for the Zombie Dice app!

Cons: I wish this game came with a score sheet that copies could be made off of or a score sheet pad. Sometimes it's a hassle trying to find a scrap of paper and writing utensil. Maybe the one I bought just didn't have it?

Overall, the game ranks very high with me! Buy it, try it, and shoot me your opinion!
