Webcomic Review: XKCD!
Tonight I've stumbled upon an awesome webcomic! It all started with the author's notes being scanned! If my notes were this funny, I wouldn't be in school! :) Mr. Randall Munroe has an awesome, nerdy sense of humor that I appreciate greatly. My review for today is XKCD!
Creativity of Writing: 4/5 It's funny, but some of the references (mainly the math ones) are over my head and cause me to zone out. Sometimes I can't make it through the comic. I love that the strips are random. If one doesn't work for you, there's sure to be plenty that DO!
Creativity of Art: 1/5 For obvious reasons. Nothing personal, I'm just an art major that loves beauty in webcomics. I understand that these comics were made on notes and that they weren't INTENDED to look good. Still...I have to give it a score! I think that it would add a lot to the overall effect of the webcomic if it LOOKED better.
Overall Casual Read Rating: 3.5/5 The humor is awesome and I love how random the strips are! They make me giggle. :)
