Miss Katrina Hill, known as the Action Flick Chick, is a kick-awesome action movie reviewer. Someone so awesome deserves to have her own webcomic, right?
Written by Nick Langley, Katrina Hill, and Alex Langley, drawn by Nick Langley and colored by brother Alex Langley (they have their own website here), the comic features The Action Chick vs. a current hot action movie and random situations. There's tons of nerdy jokes and the expressions (check out the comic above) are awesome! If you're interested, now's the time to start reading! It's a relatively young webcomic, so you can read it all less than half an hour.
Here's what I thought!
Creativity of Writing: 5/5 Very clever. :) I love how the team ties in the current trending movies/entertainment and cross-references them. Like I said...the webcomic is pretty new, but I look forward to the clever lines and happenings of future posts.
Creativity of Art: 5/5 I love the simple line art and the details made of said simple lines. It's very effective without having to have all the shading and complication that some webcomics employ. The colors are bright and I love the solid shapes. It's very visually pleasing.
Overall Casual Read Rating: 5/5 This webcomic is all the more entertaining if you're a fan of The Action Flick Chick. Even if you're not, it's a cute little chicken with some pretty kick-ass artillery strapped all over her. It HAS to be awesome! It's current, relevant to you movie buffs, funny, and well-drawn/colored. Go check it out!
